A corporate training portal is where L&D keeps a completion record for each person and course, employees open the course material, and anyone with overdue training gets a reminder by date.
Pattern: TrackingDescribe it to EachEntry
“We need to track mandatory training for 200 staff: who has completed which course, how many are compliant, the course material, and reminders when someone's training is overdue.”

In plain English
EachEntry gives every employee and L&D lead a sign-in of their own. Each employee sees only their own completion records. It covers completion & compliance. Completion records, course material, live sessions and who to ask live in EachEntry's own database, so there's no spreadsheet to keep in sync.
What it does
Training records were split between a course platform nobody logs into and a spreadsheet L&D rebuilt before each compliance review. In EachEntry L&D keeps a completion record for every person and course, with the department, due date, status and certificate. When someone asks who still owes data protection, the answer is a filter, not an afternoon.
Working out compliance meant counting ticks in a spreadsheet and hoping it was the latest copy. In EachEntry the Home page counts completion records, and how many are completed or overdue, straight from the table. The number in the quarterly board report stops depending on who counted last.
Chasing overdue courses meant L&D sending the same all-staff email and hoping the right people read it. In EachEntry each completion record carries a due date, and the person it belongs to gets a reminder in the portal and by email when it's due or past it. The finance team stops getting nagged about secure coding.
Every person signs in to their own view. This is what each role in the demo gets.

The tables and fields EachEntry sets up for this portal. Describe your own version and change any of them in the editor.
Each one reads and writes the same records, so a form, its approval and the status page someone checks are one system. How EachEntry builds a portal
Upload and view files on the record they belong to, not in a folder named FINAL v2.
Renewals, expiries and overdue work, in an in-app inbox and by email.
Search, filters, sorting, inline add and edit. The spreadsheet, minus the sharing accident.
Live figures over the records a viewer is allowed to see.
Each person sees their own records, the ones assigned to them, or the ones they manage. Fields can be hidden per role. EachEntry sets this up from your description, and you can adjust it in the editor.
A sign-in link by email, by default. Password sign-in if you'd rather.
Your domain, your colors, your logo. Members see you.
